We wanted to take a moment and say “thank you!’ to everyone engaged at the Stop the Gerrymander rally on Sunday. To the organizers, volunteers, elected officials, ranch staff, and especially all the public attendees, together we had a great event. A special recognition goes to Gina Pomering, who organized/managed this event on the CCRC side with great proficiency and on short notice. Thank you Gina!

We saw HUGE energy in the room, and Scott Pressler really had everyone fired up. THIS is the kind of response we need from everyone, fighting to save our voices/representation in Virginia government. But simply going to a rally doesn’t move the needle towards victory. Here’s some next meaningful steps you can take to contribute towards WINNING:

  1. If you haven’t yet voted, please do so immediately. There’s no validity to the claims that your vote might not count if you vote early. See times and locations.
  2. Get friends, family, and neighbors to vote. If speaking with them makes you feel uncomfortable, just remember the ramifications if we lose this vote.
  3. Volunteer. There many functions you could perform:
    • mailing post cards
    • calling voters
    • working the polls and handing out literature
    • Knocking on doors (we can make sure you only visit friendly homes)
    • Placing signs in strategic locations
    • etc., etc….
    • Sign-up to volunteer here. Every moment of your time and effort can be so impactful.
  4. Donate. We can use any help you can give. Yard sign demand has been crazy, and that gets expensive fast.

Finally, here’s some photos from the event.

Special thanks to the team at Stop The Gerrymander for stopping in Chesterfield as part of their state tour, to include bringing Scott to town. Much appreciated!
