Thank you for taking the time to review this document. These revisions have been read by our RPV attorney, Chris Marston, and our Parliamentarian, Mike Thomas. Most of their changes and suggestions have been incorporated. The majority of the changes to the Bylaws have been made to update our procedures and practices to be more in line with the way business is conducted today.
If you have changes or suggestions, they need to be submitted in writing, using the form below, no later than November 10th at 7PM, so that we may organize them and print them up for the membership to vote on at our next following meeting on Nov. 24th. We will propose a motion at the meeting to disallow amendments from the floor, because we believe that CCRC members need to be able to read any amendments and fully consider them before they are asked to vote on them.
To be considered, changes need to indicate the page, article, section, and paragraph number, so that we know exactly where they apply. You must provide the specific language of your proposed change, including the words to be stricken (if any) and the words to be inserted (if any).
You may also just comment on any proposed amendment to the bylaws using the same form. Please make sure you are clear as to which amendment(s) your comment applies.
Thank you.
