The Chesterfield County Republican Committee is pleased to announce that we are now providing a means to utilize our new community event submission self-service portal for our event calendar. This website feature will allow members of the community (politicians, candidates, like-minded organizations, etc.) to submit events to our calendar directly. The event portal will allow you to also view your events, edit your events, or remove them completely.

Process:

  1. Create a user account for the website by creating a username and adding an email address: LINK
  2. You will receive an email with instructions to set your password
  3. Once your account is created, visit the event submission portal: LINK
  4. Enter your event details: Please be as complete as possible when entering the requested fields. For event featured images, images look best when the image
  5. selected is 16×9 orientation (bigger width than height).
  6. When the relevant fields are completed, click “submit”
  7. Your event submission will go to committee leadership for review and approval, and you will be notified when published. If your event is not approved, we will provide feedback as to reason, and if possible, will suggest edits as appropriate.

We hope that this new self-service feature will mean more-timely addition of events to the calendar and a better process to edit/delete your events, all from your event portal pages. We also hope that our committee calendar will become the go-to place for all RED events in Chesterfield.
