Join the Committee
Why Join the Committee?
Becoming a member of the Chesterfield County Republican Committee is exciting! It allows you to take an active part in the nominating process for candidates and other decisions the committee is charged with making. Meetings are typically held on the third or fourth Monday of the month.
Memberships last two years from the date of the most recent scheduled party canvass. The current membership period runs through spring 2016.
How Do You Become a Member?
- You must be a resident of Chesterfield County, but not necessarily a registered voter. Please download the printable CCRC Application at the bottom of the page, attach a check for the $25 fee and mail to the P.O. box shown on the form.
- Membership applications must be received no later than 10 days before that month's scheduled meeting. This is required in order to place the applicants name on the Official Call. Membership applications will be acted upon at each monthly meeting. Any application received after the deadline will be held over until the next scheduled meeting.
- Members may not miss more than three consecutive meetings or he or she will forfeit voting privileges. Warning letters will be sent following the second consecutive missed meeting. You may obtain a proxy form below for any meeting you cannot attend.
